Each January, in the dark of winter we turn attention inwards towards creating and developing new plays by emerging and professional BC playwrights.

With an eye towards discovery - moments of eureka, impact, and joy - we seek to break new ground as we explore formats that challenge perception of audience and artist.

We plant seeds and nurture stories.

Playwrights are paired with professional dramaturgs and local professional actors work with the team to fulfill the playwright’s vision. Discoveries are shared with audiences over three days of staged reading performances.
